
Chris Heslop & Bob Kreitz Traditional Jazz
Chris Heslop is a saxophonist and composer with a varied musical background. As a saxophonist, Chris is often seen playing with big bands, jazz combos, salsa, and polka bands. A composer, he has written for big bands, orchestras, movies, theatrical productions, and several operas. An early jazz enthusiast, he incorporates the styles of Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, and other early greats into both his playing and composing.
Bob Kreitz has played piano in the Reading area professionally for over forty years. He presently performs regularly with his dance band, By Request, and the Pretzel City Dixieland Jazz Band throughout Central Pennsylvania. Bob also works with other groups focusing on traditional jazz as well as doing solo engagements.

Hot Club of Reading returns to WCR for Berks Jazz Fest. This year we have special guest Danny Tobias, a New York-based extraordinary traditional jazz player on cornet, trumpet, and vocals.
Join us for an exciting afternoon of Rhumba Flamenca, Blues & Gypsy Jazz Music starring The Quarantined Quartet from New York Guitar Academy, along with Josh Taylor, Dave Kline & The Gypsy Jazz-Blues Fusion Band. Presented as a service to the community by WCR Center for the Arts, The Reading Musical Foundation & Dave Kline Productions.
